SINGAPORE, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) — Singapore stocks finished lower on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 23.32 points, or 0.68 percent, to close at 3,402.86.
A total of 1.51 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 41 billion Singapore dollars (1.04 billion U.S. dollars).
Decliners outnumbered gainers 270 to 165, while 498 others finished unchanged.
The STI index lost 14.65 points, or 0.43 percent, to close at 3, 426.18 on Thursday.
