SOUTHEAST Asian stock markets climbed yesterday, cheered by better economic news from the US, with a rally in global oil prices boosting commodities-related shares across the board.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index snapped two days of losses to finish up 2.25 per cent or 58.87 points, at 2,673.32, a one-week high.
Most market analysts expect any rally in Southeast Asian bourses to be temporary. Agencies
